Kanye West and Dr. Dre’s ‘Jesus Is King 2’ Album Release date :- Kanye West’s new album, Jesus Is King 2, has not been released yet. It is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2023, via Def Jam Recordings.
Kanye West initially announced “Jesus Is King 2” in November 2019, shortly after releasing the original album. He shared his excitement on Twitter, posting a photo of himself and Dr. Dre working together in the studio.
During a Sunday Service event in California the following month, Kanye expressed his admiration for Dr. Dre and humorously remarked that creating a gospel album unexpectedly led to their collaboration. He jokingly noted that after years of striving to match Dr. Dre’s mixing skills, all he needed to do was create an album for God, and Dr. Dre would handle the mixing.
Despite providing a glimpse of an unreleased track called “Glory” in a Beats Studio Buds commercial, Kanye shifted his focus to his 10th studio album, “Donda,” which was released in August 2021.
The leak of “Jesus Is King 2” follows the appearance of another unreleased Kanye West album, “Donda: With Child.” This project featured early versions of tracks from “Donda” and unreleased material, along with guest appearances from Travis Scott, Pusha T, Big Sean, James Blake, and Sheck Wes.
For fans who prefer to avoid leaks, there’s good news on the horizon. Kanye is reportedly working on his 11th studio album, described as a blend of “The College Dropout” and “The Life of Pablo,” with an impressive roster of collaborators. The album is said to contain some controversial references, although not in an antisemitic context.
Recently, Kanye West debuted a new song at the Mowalola Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show in London, where he name-dropped luminaries like Frank Ocean, Solange, and celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang in his lyrics, offering fans a glimpse of his upcoming work.
